The kids are back in school, there’s a crisp chill in the air (today at least, never mind what the weather’s going to do this weekend), and runners from all across the Richmond region have turned off their treadmills and hit the pavement in preparation for the 42nd Annual VCU Health Richmond Marathon, the Markel Richmond Half, the Allianz Partners 8K, and the Kaléo Marathon Jr., to be held on November 10. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite ways to show yourself a little self-care and your body some love in between runs, and if you haven’t started training, there’s still time to join the Sports Backers 8k Training Team which starts on Saturday, September 21.
