How did you come up with the name for your business?
It was the original name, I don't like it and I think about changing it daily!
How did you get the idea for your business?
It pretty much fell in my lap. It was an existing business and the original owner was ready to retire.

My husband and I are part of a dining club that meets once a month and we go to a different Richmond restaurant. We have been doing this since 1993!

All my talents are pretty much out there... I'm good at falling up steps!

Who do you look up to and why?
I belong to a women's shopkeepers group. The women are all shop owners throughout the US and I have so much respect and admiration for these women as they grown their businesses and have families.
What do you love most about Richmond?
I always tell my kids that Richmond is a large small town. There is so much to do, we're close to the mountains, the beach and DC but you can still go just about anywhere and see someone you know.
What's the best thing about being a local business owner?
Getting to know and be a part of the community. Our customers are wonderful and so loyal, they make it fun to go into work everyday.
