This Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to show some love to local businesses, as well as your Valentine – no matter how serious your relationship status is at the moment.
While 2021 may not be the year for far away romantic getaways, you can still “getaway” for a change of scenery with a Valentine’s package from the Linden Row Inn. The boutique hotel located in the heart of the city has partnered with Groovin’ Gourmets to offer guests a COVID-safe, private dining experience sure to sweep your Valentine of their feet. Guests may choose from one of two packages:
- Overnight Stay + Dinner: Stay in a Garden room, Main House room, or Parlour Suite on February 13, 2021 and enjoy a private, romantic dinner for two from the comfort of your room with an optional breakfast add-on for the next morning.
- Overnight Stay + Valentine's Morning Breakfast: Stay in a Garden room, Main House room, or Parlour Suite on February 13, 2021 and wake up with a private breakfast for two the next morning from the comfort of your room.
Looking for something a little bit more casual? Hot Chick, located in historic Shockoe Bottom, is offering a Valentine’s menu that hits just the right note of romantic and chill featuring their famous Winner Winner Chicken Dinner which includes hush puppies, eight pieces of perfectly fried chicken, two sides of your choice, a banana pudding to split for dessert, as well as a bottle of Opera Prima Sparkling Wine. The special is available for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.
And for those who aren’t quite ready to commit to a full meal, may we suggest Tea @ Home by The Jefferson Hotel. Kicking off on February 13, guests can pre-order The Jefferson’s beloved Southern afternoon tea service to enjoy in the comfort of their own home.
If food’s just too much commitment for you, there’s always a coffee date to Pomona.
